Dr Vicky Jones runs a travel clinic at Katikati Medical Centre. She has a post graduate qualification in travel medicine from the University of Otago.
Whether you are holidaying overseas, or travelling for work, it’s important that you are up to date with the correct vaccinations and travel advice. Being prepared means less holiday disruption if something goes wrong!
Please try and book your travel consult 6 weeks before your trip as some vaccines require a course of treatment. However, even last minute there are usually options that are suitable.
Travel consults with Dr Jones start at 30 minutes and can last up to 1 hour depending on the number of travellers and the complexity of your itinerary. You will have a nurse appointment afterwards for any relevant vaccinations. We will send you a travel questionnaire at the time of booking for you to complete ASAP, as this will help Dr Jones decide if your appointment needs more time.

These appointments receive NO government funding. Vaccinations often cost extra and details will be discussed during the consult.

Note, currently we do NOT provide Yellow Fever vaccination.
