Critical to the care you receive are the staff that look after you. We are proud of the team we have at Katikati Medical Centre. Already trained to a high standard we ensure they continue to maintain their skills by regular attendance at training courses and of course all our staff have extensive experience.
Keren Hoogwerf
I joined Katikati Medical Centre as a Receptionist in April 2015 and, soon after, was excited to be given the opportunity to undertake a Practice Manager’s Course which took 3.5 years of part-time study. In 2018 I was promoted to Office Manager and December 2021 saw me accept the role of Practice Manager.
As Practice Manager I have overall responsibility for the clinical care of every patient visiting the Centre. As well as ensuring standards are maintained and the very best of care is given, I am also responsible for all staff within KMC. I strive to carry out all aspects of my work in a caring and empathetic manner whilst immersing myself in the day to day operations of KMC. Business management and data analyses are my passion!
I am a family oriented person and my wonderful husband and 2 sons are my primary focus outside of work. When I do manage some time to myself I enjoy reading, all genres of music and the occasional treat of fine food and wine!
