Our Logo
The interwoven circles represent circles of wellbeing – mauri ora – formed by the Katikati Medical Centre team, the enrolled patients and their whānau.
The colours are important:
Blue being the moana, rivers and streams enabling the arrival of tangata whenua and people from other countries seeking a new life, to flourish and thrive, in Aotearoa.
Green represents the whenua and the productive land of kiwifruit, avocados, grazing and the forests of the Kaimai Ranges which provide nutrition and employment.
Yellow is ra, the sun, providing warmth for us all.
The circles of wellbeing represent the weaving together of these elements and represent the whenua or connection to the land – a source of life, nourishment, and wellbeing for everyone.
